Hamamise
濱見世
Located inside Hama-rikyu Gardens, the Hamamise kiosk offers dango, sakuramochi, varied ice creams, and cold drinks to enjoy by the sheltered rest area.
01 / ABOUT THE PLACE
While exploring the expansive grounds of Hama-rikyu Gardens, Hamamise is an easy kiosk to stop by whenever you need to pause and catch your breath beside the park's rest area. With an accessible selection of simple sweets and drinks to pick up during a walk, it offers a welcome chance to rest tired legs.
Alongside classic Japanese confections like skewered dango and seasonal sakuramochi in early spring, the shop stocks a generous range of frozen treats well-suited for warm days. Choosing something cold to fit the moment—from pure frozen fruit and ice cream bars to a chilled Shingen mochi crepe—is part of the pleasure of wandering the grounds.
Any snacks or bottled drinks you pick up can be enjoyed on the spot, using the benches and covered gazebo located just outside. The stand also carries small souvenirs like tenugui hand towels, making it a reliable spot to pause and relax surrounded by the park's greenery.
